Among the new design elements in the 2020 Soul, you’ll find redesigned headlights, daylights and turn indicators, a larger grille and 3D wraparound boomerang tail lights, among others.

As for changes under the hood of the 2020 Soul, which has the same 2.0 litre 4 cylinder with 147 horsepower as the previous model, it can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. You can also opt for a more powerful 1.6 litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 201 horsepower and a 7-speed automatic with double clutch. The fuel consumption rates of the 2020 edition haven’t yet been released, but they should be similar to the current model. And for those who wonder if the electric version will still be an option, you’ll be happy to learn that the Soul EV will be back in 2020! It will deliver 204 horsepower (+95) as well as a 64-kWh lithium-ion battery, up from the 34 kWh of the current model. The autonomy figures haven’t yet been revealed but remember that the 2019 model lists a 170 km autonomy.
