The 2020 Escape: All-Wheel Drive only for luxury versions

The 1.5-litre EcoBoost that comes standard on the 2020 Ford Escape is barely as powerful as the Sportage’s GDI engine, since it only produces 180 horsepower. And all-wheel drive is only offered on the upper-range versions of this Ford SUV (SEL and Titanium).

The 2020 Sportage: Standard Infotainment

Standard, every 2020 Sportage receives Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and AM/FM/MP3 radio. On the 2020 Escape, several of these connectivity technologies are only available as options with the Sync 3 system.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the entry-range model of the 2020 Sportage, the LX FWD, is of $27,705, while the MSRP of the 2020 Ford Escape’s basic model is still not known. In 2019, the MSRP of the Sportage LX was at only $25,295 while the Escape was selling at $26,399. Hence, if the trend continues like it was the case in the past years, the MSRP of the 2020 Escape S should be significantly superior to that of the 2020 Sportage.
